Is anyone else really into gold everything right now?  I was putting away some fun new stuff the other day from some recent purchases and I realized I accumulated a lot of gold!  I’ve always preferred gold hardware and jewelry, but I’m loving the recent trend on all sorts of other textiles.

Ironically, as I was thinking about putting together this post, I learned that September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.  If you want to do one better than me and shop knowing funds from your purchase will go to a good cause, search the hashtag #shopgoldforacure on Instagram.  There are 100 small online shops (and many of my personal faves) that have teamed up with sweet mama of two-year-old cancer survivor @lillybumpas_giveforward.  Each day in September, she is featuring a few shops, each with gold-themed products that promise to donate a portion of their proceeds to Pediatric Cancer Awareness.  Follow her to get all the latest because many of these items sell out fast!
