six geese a-laying // a christmas giveaway series

Today is the sixth day of The Love Designed Life Twelve Days of Christmas Giveawy, and I am so excited to share with you guys a product that I personally have been wanting to try out for a while now, the DockATot.

As I have mentioned before, we are currently living in a very small space for our family of five – a two bedroom apartment. My older two babes share a room which automatically puts the youngest in our room. I don’t mind one bit [our oldest slept in our room for his first year], but it does limit our personal space. The DockATot is the perfect solution for space-saving safe co-sleeping as he can nestle in right between us in it. But not only for sleeping, it is also so versatile for around the house!

Our DockATot has actually been getting a lot of use during play time lately. It works perfectly for tummy time because I can put his little arms over the bumper edge and he can hold his head up and look around. It’s also the perfect place to lay him on is back for a little while when I need to put him down to do something! He actually loves hanging out on his changing table, but I get nervous to leave him there unsupervised [for obvious reasons] so the DockATot has become my new go-to spot if I just need my hands free for a minute. I put it on the ground within sight and lay him down in it so he can see me and play without rolling off of anything. And more importantly, it keeps him happy!The size pictured here is the Deluxe, which is designed for ages 0-9 months. We also have the Grande size which is designed for ages 9-36 months. I got the bigger one because my two-year-old is getting ready to transition into a big girl bed. *sigh* During this transition time with my oldest, he fell out of bed frequently, even with various types of guard rails. So my plan is to start putting the DockATot in with my daughter in her crib, then when we are ready to put her in her big girl bed, she can take this with her to feel save and secure and [hopefully] not fall out of bed! I will follow up on the results of that later!
