It’s the tenth day of The Love Designed Life’s Twelve Days of Christmas Giveaway! When my little little lords and their eight other friends get to a-leaping, they have to look their best – in the cutest of cute from bow tie maker, Lennon & Co., of course!
From the time I was a little girl myself, I always knew I wanted to have a little girl of my own some day to play dress up with, as you can probably tell from all my pictures of my daughter around here! But until I had boys, I never really thought about how fun it could be to dress them up too. Of course one of the easiest way to add a little flair to a little man’s outfit is the classic bow tie, and Lennon & Co. makes a plethora of options. From small bow ties that can snap on to onsies, to bigger clip-ons, and even little hair bows for girls too! And so many different prints to match the season or year-round classics.
Mama maker and owner Lili started Lennon & Co [unofficially] while on bed rest while pregnant with her daughter, Lennon in 2013. After deciding to leave the corporate life of digital advertising, Lili dedicated herself to bow making and the shop has blossomed into something bigger than she ever would have imagined. Through it all, her daughter Lennon is her inspiration and major motivating factor.
Lili describes her style as modern and contemporary but isn’t afraid of patterns! She also tries to keep her patterns classic so they can be used by the little ones any time and with any outfit. Lili says, “The BEST part about outfitting babies/kids is seeing them grow up! Being able to see a baby use our bow ties during their newborn photos and then seeing that same bow tie in their monthly photos is just the best.”
As you can tell, we had no fun at all playing with this shoot. Well, that baby wasn’t into it so much. 😉
