current faves: more small shops i heart
The more time I spend on Instagram, the more great little shops I find. And as I said in my last post on this subject, I just love supporting other hard working mamas who are out there just being creative and making awesome stuff. For these shop features, I also pick mamas who I personally love. I might not know them personally, but these are women who have either reached out to me, been supportive when I have reached out to them, or who just given awesome customer service all while maintaining the utmost professionalism in their respective businesses. It can be a little risky when you shop small and buy handmade, but these women do it flawlessly, make it look easy, and evoke confidence in the spirit of entrepreneurism.
If you know me, you already know that my favorite color of all time is white. But as it is now officially fall, I find myself drawn to all things black with white. So for this current faves round up, I am showing you a few of my fave black and white pieces from a few of my fave small shops. All sources are listed below this picture!
1.// @prospectgoods prospectgoods.com
I came across this little party shop on instagram when I was browsing party ideas one night. I love their stuff because it is more reasonably priced than a lot of other similar products out there- and they offer a DIY kit version of the modern shaped diamond pinata, making it even more affordable! Look for my DIY version from that kit here on the bloggy coming soon.
2.// @weemaggies WeeMaggies on Etsy
This sweet mama is a hand-made machine. Her shop on Etsy has a variety of hair accessories and clothing, including this headwrap. And she has kimonos for babies and kids coming soon!
3.// @littlebaberham littlebaberham.com
Alessandra wore this kimono the other day and got so many compliments. I mean, is there anything cuter than baby kimonos? Little Baberham also sells headwraps and accessories and has one mama sized kimono that I have my eye on!
4.// @beeandherdog www.beeandherdog.com
When I first met this mama on Instagram, she was making baby hair bows. Now, she has expanded her horizons and makes these amazing playmats! Such a great shower gift idea for a mama to take everywhere with her little one and I love this modern-kitschy print.
5.// @duchessandlionco www.duchessandlion.com
If you are at all into Instagram shopping, this woman needs no introduction. Her kids’ clothing line is KILLER. So many of her pieces are truly unisex and all of them are made for the uber cool babe in your life. I have to stop myself from buying everything!
Happy shopping!
