the best matchy-matchy christmas jammies
Oh my goodness, I have had sooo much going on lately! I’m pretty sure I mentioned this before somewhere [mom brain], but I have been trying to be more consistent about when and how often I post here on the blog. However lately, I just can’t seem to keep up with that schedule! So frustrating for my type A personality. BUT, I couldn’t leave you guys out of these great finds and even some awesome deals going on for matching Christmas jammies this week!
When we were little, my baby sister and I always had matching Christmas jammies. It was the late eighties/ early nineties so this usually consisted of polyester nightgowns with no shortage of ruffles. We also often did matching Christmas dresses. And Easter dresses. You get the picture. [insert twinning emoji here.] I remember my mom always being very careful to make sure we actually enjoyed matching. Even though I was five and half years older than my sister and eventually became very annoyed with her in every way [teen years, you know], I actually loved it when we were kids.
So I attribute this love of all things matchy-matchy for my kiddos to my own childhood. And I will put them in matching holiday pajamas until they bitterly refuse to cooperate.
A while back I posted this top pic on my Instagram and I had a lot of people ask where I found these [they were Gap, but for Halloween so out of season now]. So I thought now would be a good time to share my love of matching jammies for the Christmas season. The good news is, there are a lot of sales for jammies going on right now! But surprisingly, it is definitely NOT too early if you actually want your kiddos to match. I have already found that sizes I need to get all three of mine to match are selling out! So jump on it!
I found these below jammies at Hanna Andersson a while back, but I waited to pull the trigger because they are organic cotton and therefore the price was a bit steep. Then last week, I was super excited to have been invited through Scottsdale Moms Blog [where I am a contributor] to their grand opening event here in Scottsdale where they were buy one get one free! Score! I may or may not have purchased a set for every member of our family.
As promised, for those of you who aren’t local, here are a few more super cute Christmas matchy-matchy jammies and the deals I found on them!
1.// I just love this classic rugby stripe from Burt’s Bees. Also in organic cotton so it’s easy to see why this made Oprah’s Favorite Things list this year! They have toddler, baby and even grown-up options too!
2.// As much as I mostly prefer clean lines and solid clothing, I am a sucker for a Fair Isle pattern. This “Dear Deer” print comes in styles and sizes for men, women, toddlers, and baby [and is the set we now have]! Today only, you can shop their 40% off two-hour flash sale in store from 10 am – 12 pm. Find a store here. If you don’t have a store in your area don’t worry, you cans till get 30% off most jammies online!
3.// Another Fair Isle all-family option is these long johns from Target. No special on these, but the price point is already so low, you can go ahead and grab a set for the whole family here too!
4.// These seasonal jammies from Gap are super fun and are not just for Christmas. Gap doesn’t really do the same print in different size categories like some of these other brands, but they do have a lot of options that coordinate well together. Gap also rarely puts their jammies on sale, but these organic cotton animal jammies are currently marked down 20% [no coupon code needed]! And they would be oh-so-cute paired with these yetti footed jammies.
5. One more from Hanna because well, as you know, white is my fave. I found the toddler size at Nordstrom and the baby sleeper here [both marked down 30%].
