nine ladies dancing // a christmas giveaway series

It’s already day nine of The Love Designed Life Twelve Days of Christmas giveaway and I can hardly believe we are just a couple weeks away from Christmas! The ninth day of Christmas is all about those nine ladies dancing, so naturally we had to dress up in one of our favorite handmade shop’s tutus, Wrare Doll, and have a dance party in the living room!

I first found Wrare Doll as I find most of my favorite small shops, a couple of years ago on Instagram. Owner and designer Annie Casale has a sharp eye for all things uber-feminine and dreamy and I immediately knew we would get along, aesthetically speaking. She has since become well-known across the mama Instagram community as the go-to source for not only her luxurious tutus, but also her unique ready-to-wear tops, bloomers, dresses, and more. After both purchasing from and working with her on a few projects over the past couple of years since she opened shop, I am now happy to now call this sweet mama a friend.

Annie first started sewing just five years ago and made her own wedding dress! Let me just tell you as a former fashion student who never really got into sewing so much, that is incredibly impressive! Also from my previous work in fashion technical design and production, the quality of her workmanship is outstanding. It is always nice to support handmade, but I am here to tell you that not all are created equal. Wrare Doll‘s quality is definitely top tier.

Annie’s first daughter, Coral was the inspiration to start her shop on Etsy in 2013.  Since then she has second baby girl, Juniper, moved across the country, and organically grown her business from a one woman show to becoming incorporated and hiring employees, all while maintaining her high standards of quality control. Her girls continue to inspire her to continue refining her techniques and growing her business.
