tea parties and girly things

I have pretty much been dreaming of having tea parties with my daughter my whole life. So I am just smitten that my real life baby doll is currently obsessed with them! At least once a day, she will bring me a tea cup and say, “Here’s your tea party, Mom!” Then we have to drink the tea and maybe have a ‘bite’ of cake. I know I am totally biased, but it is adorable.

Another girly thing my daughter is into these days is her hair bows. She was really fighting wearing them for a while, pulling them out every time we were in the car. But now she asks for them and wants to pick them out every day! Some of our favorites are the classic styling in tons of fun prints by Lennon + Co. We have a healthy collection of bow ties for the boys too. Shop owner Lili is honestly one of the shop is the best place to go for little boy bow ties and precious little girl hairbows, plus, she us just the sweetest.

My baby A also loves to color and create artwork recently, so I thought these adorable art prints created by my friend Monica of Modern Moni would be a great way to spruce up the kid’s shared play area. We all love the colorful popsicles and that sweet donut makes me wanna run out and get one right now! I met Monica a couple of months back where she to taught me how to watercolor at a local workshop she was teaching. Recently, Monica just welcomed another baby girl into their family and has taken a short break from her online shop. But on this Friday, April 29, 2016, the shop will be back open!
