love styled: shopping my closet
I’m back at it this month with a brand new Love Styled post for you guys, where I shop my closet! When I first started doing these posts, the idea was to get back a little of the fashionable love in my life. To make me feel more like me again, after babies. When I first became a stay at home mom, I had a bit of an identity crisis wearing yoga pants all day every day. Sure, I was comfortable. [And NOT that there is anything wrong with that!] But it’s just never really been me. At that time, all of my other clothes were too, work-ish. So it’s taken me a while to find my mom style. Love Styled is a photo documentation of this journey. Plus, an excuse to twin with my mini. 😉
As I mentioned in my last post, one of my goals this year is to work towards being more minimalist. To rid my life of the clutter and be more mindful about what I bring in. It’s going to start with my closet. [The actual clean-out is still on the to-do list. But it’s happening.] So as I prepared for this post, I wanted to do things a little differently. With my first Love Styled posts, I for some reason felt like I needed to have new outfits for both of us every time. But now, I think it will serve me better [in so many ways] to try to find new ways to put together things we already own. If nothing else, it will be an exercise in creativity! I hope to inspire you all to do the same. And I hope you will follow along this year as I attempt to make Love Styled more regular, with a monthly post!
Now, as much as I want to be a minimalist, at the same time, I am a realist. I like to have new things to freshen up my rotation! So I will still feature some fresh + new brands we love or have recently discovered in my Love Styled posts, as I am doing here. You can always find my sources [or similar items, if they are older] linked at the bottom of my style posts!
Today I just want to shout out my new Gigi Pip hat. Anyone else super into hats right now? It’s like, better than dry shampoo I tell you! Mine is called the Emma, and it is currently sold out. But they have SO many cute hats over at Gigi Pip. I’m sure you’ll find one you love! I had a hard time choosing myself!
I’m also loving this super delicate, minimalist necklace from Gorjana. I love anything gold, and I especially love long necklaces. This one is so clean and simple, I can wear it with anything!

And this Nena & Co bag has basically been living on me since it first arrived last month. It is seriously the perfect size non-diaper bag diaper bag. I love it so much and I get compliments everywhere I go. Nena & Co. guys! P.S. I can’t link my exact bag because of the nature of the fabric, each bag is unique. How cool is that?! But this style is called the Leather Convertible Day Bag and there are lots to chose from on the Nena & Co. website.
The rest of the look on me + my babe I will link below! Thanks everyone, for following along!
