first birthday party invites with minted
I have been busy working on Diego’s First Fiesta over here lately, and now that his birthday is just a month away, we are getting pretty excited! Also in denial. Where did my baby go??? I haven’t been sharing too many sneak peeks about the party here on the blog yet, but I have some really fun collaborations in the works, and I can’t wait to show them to you! Today I’m excited to share with you one of them, our super-cute invites from our long-time favorite, Minted.
For each of my kiddos, we have done big first birthdays. I just think the first year is worth celebrating with all the friends and family who helped you get through it. It really does take a village, amiright? Even after three kids, in my opinion thus far, the first year is the hardest!
With my first two babes’ birthday parties, I did online digital invitations. There are some great options for these out there days, beyond the ad-saturated evites, but I am still such a sucker for good ol’ fashioned paper stationery. Especially since this is a ‘proper’ party – I felt this time it deserved a proper invitation!
I’m sure I’ve gushed before about why I love Minted [I have. also here and here], but just a reminder of a few of the reasons: they connect independent artists to customers like me, they have tons of designs and customizable options [including super thick card stock and real foil, hello!], and I love the option to have addresses printed right on the envelopes [major time saver!]. For these invitations, I tried out the wrap around return address labels with the cute saying on them, which I loved. And I was really excited for the matching thank-you cards, yet another huge time saver after the party is over!
This saguaro cactus design I found on the Minted site fits in perfectly with the modern fiesta theme I am going for. I also really liked and considered this papel picado inspired design. And because there are SO many beautiful designs to browse through on Minted’s site, I figured I’d just share a few more of my faves for some other fun themes. You can click on each picture to shop them on minted.com!
In an effort to always disclose my partnerships, this post was created in collaboration with Minted, who provided product in exchange for my honest review. As always, all opinions expressed here are my own!
